



























Courtesy Call to the Cabinet Secretary Interior and National Administration
The National Police Service Commission, led by Chairperson Eliud Kinuthia, CBS, this morning paid a courtesy call on Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, EGH Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, at his office in Harambee House. The briefing served to orient the Cabinet Secretary on the Commission’s mandate, operational status, key achievements, and strategic recommendations for enhancing service delivery.
The chairperson outlined the Commission’s milestones, emphasizing that a collaborative approach with the Ministry is instrumental in driving reforms within the National Police Service. In his remarks, the Cabinet Secretary commended the Commission for fostering a cordial working relationship with the Service saying that such synergy is essential in improving service delivery to the public. He also congratulated the Commission on the significant milestones achieved over the past six years.
In attendance were Vice Chairperson Dr. Alice Otwala, Commissioners Eusebius Laibuta, Dr.Lilian Kiamba, John Ole Moyaki, Edwin Cheluget, Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja, DIG Kenya Police Service Eliud Lagat, DIG Administration Police Service Gilbert Masengeli, Director DCI Amin Mohamed, Secretary Administration Bernice Lemedeket and CEO Peter Leley.
