The National Police Service Commission joined H.E the President Dr. William Ruto in a commissioning briefing with the newly sworn-in Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kenya Police Service Eliud Lagat and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Administration Police Service Gilbert Masengeli at State House Mombasa. The Deputy Inspectors General automatically assumed the role of Commissioners at the National Police Service Commission.
The ceremony was attended by the Commission Chairperson Eliud Kinuthia, CBS, Vice Chair Dr. Alice Otwala, Commissioners John Ole Moyaki, Dr. Lilian Kiamba, Edwin Cheluget, Inspector General of Police nominee Douglas Kanja, Secretary Administration and Accounting Officer NPS Bernice Lemedeket and Commission Secretary/CEO Peter Leley.
