H.E President Ruto Receives National Police Service DIGs Recruitment Report from NPSC

The National Police Service Commission this evening presented the Report on the recruitment of Deputy Inspector General Kenya Police Service (DIG-KPS) and Deputy Inspector General Administration Police Service (DIG-APS) to H.E. President William Ruto at Statehouse, Nairobi.

Commission Chair – Eliud N. Kinuthia, CBS, termed the recruitment process overboard as the Commission was guided by Article 232 of the Constitution that calls for fair competition and merit in the recruitment process.

Speaking after receiving the report, The President commended the Commission for overseeing the process within the stipulated 14-day period. President Ruto pledged to strengthen the Commission and the National Police Service to execute their mandate efficiently.

Those in attendance were NPSC Vice Chair Dr. Alice Otwala, Commissioners Dr. Lilian Kiamba, Edwin Cheluget, John Ole Moyaki, Ag. Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja, Director Directorate Criminal Investigations Amin Mohamed, CEO Peter Leley and Secretary Administration and Accounting Officer NPS Bernice Lemedeket.
