Police officers from Karen Plains Police Station today benefited from a free counselling session organized by the National Police Service Commission (NPSC). This initiative, aimed at promoting mental health wellness among the officers, is part of the Commission’s ongoing efforts to enhance the welfare of police personnel across the country.
The counselling session provided officers with valuable guidance on stress management, positive coping methods, and personal development. These critical interventions are designed to equip officers with the tools necessary to manage the demands and challenges of their roles effectively.
Officer Commanding Station (OCS), Chief Inspector Kenneth Lang’at, expressed his gratitude for the session. He acknowledged the importance of mental health support and encouraged the Commission to continue organizing such mental health clinics for the benefit of all officers.
This session is one of many welfares programmes the NPSC has lined up for various police stations nationwide.
